last night's SPN

Just watched last night's ep and am reeling at all the pieces that the brothers are in right now, especially Dean. My heart is broken for him, who just tried to kill the very little brother he has devoted much of his life to keeping safe, whose deep need for his little brother to respect him was revealed to Sam, who was told by Sam that Dean is weak and in Sam's way, who was wrong about the doctor. And I can't imagine the boys working through the damage done very easily, since they aren't great at talking through emotional stuff. Finally, an ep that made me excited and curious for the rest of the season!

Interesting that Dean's heart's desire is stronger for a brother than for a woman, and that the perfect brother would be WAY less good-looking than Sam is!
